Opening ceremony of 2006 TECHNICAL TRAINING COURSE ON INTEGRATED FISH FARMING

 (July 3- August 31, 2006)

The opening ceremony of 2006 technical training course on integrated fish farming was conducted at the international conference hall on July 4, 2006.

Prof. Li Jieren, Vice president of Chinese academy of fishery sciences, Prof. Xu Pao, Director of Freshwater fisheries research center of CAFS, Mr. Zhao Ming, deputy director of the Foreign affairs office of Wuxi Municipal government, Prof. Li Yingren, Director of international cooperation department of CAFS, Mr. Xu Guomin, Deputy director of Agriculture and fishery bureau of Wuxi Municipal government were presented on the opening ceremony. Prof. Miao Weimin, Director of Asian-Pacific regional research and training center for integrated fish farming acted as the master of the opening ceremony.

28 participants from 13 countries were accepted for this technical training course, 25 participants presented at the opening ceremony. i.e. participants are from Egypt, Tanzania, Kenya, Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Liberia, Ghana, Zambia, South Africa, Mozambique,  DJibouti and DPR Korea.
